GWAR's URUNGUS Records Guest Appearance For BALLISTIC's Debut

May 10, 2003

Dave Brockie (a.k.a. Oderus Urungus of GWAR) has laid down a "hellish" vocal spot on a track called "The Dissection" for the forthcoming self-titled debut album from BALLISTIC, due in July through New York-based AR Records in the U.S. and Metal Blade Records in Europe. BALLISTIC, who feature in their ranks former DEUCE / TENSION / WARDOG mainman Tom Gattis, along with JAG PANZER members Rikard Stjernquist (drums) and Chris Broderick (guitar),are recording the album at a Phoenix studio with longtime co-producer John Herrera. "This CD is going to be heavy and violent as hell!" Gattis promised in a posting to the band's official web site. "In an age of anti-war sentiment this may be out of step with the masses, but we are a metal band. For a more passive sound, I recommend ABBA or THE SPIN DOCTORS."
