HAGGARD Mastermind Discusses Lineup Changes
October 10, 2005In a recent interview with Boris Van Berlo of Tartarean Desire, Asis Nasseri — mastermind and frontman of German orchestral metallers HAGGARD — discussed the recent lineup changes within the band. According to Asis, HAGGARD parted ways with female singer Gaby Koss because she was "not good enough" and they have since replaced her with Suzanne. Bassist Robin Fischer, who has also been dropped, was credited on the "Eppur Si Muove" album, even though a guest musician actually played all the bass lines on the record. Further additions to the band are the two celloists, Johannes and Claudia, who both joined HAGGARD during 2005. Asis also discussed the plans for the band's upcoming fourth full-length album which will be a more medieval-oriented concept album. HAGGARD will enter the studio early next year to record the CD for a tentative May/June 2006 release through Drakkar.
