HAIL OF BULLETS Featuring GOREFEST, PESTILENCE Members: New Song Posted Online

August 4, 2007

HAIL OF BULLETS, the new band featuring GOREFEST drummer Ed Warby, THANATOS guitarists Stephan Gebédi and Paul Baayens, former PESTILENCE/ASPHYX singer Martin Van Drunen and former HOUWITSER bass player Theo van Eekelen, has posted a brand new, unmixed song on its MySpace page.

Commented the group: "Finally, the day I know you (and we) have all been waiting for: Mr. van Drunen added his sick vocals to the four tracks which will soon be known as the first official HAIL OF BULLETS promo! He came in, had a few beers, killed a few microphones, had a few more beers, and so it was done.

"We put up one song for your enjoyment, but be sure to check back regularly, we may upload another one. Note: this is still unmixed, hopefully by the end of August we'll be able to put up the real thing (i.e. mixed by the master of heaviness, Dan Swanö).

"For now let this rough slice of brutality satisfy your cravings for all things death and metal!"

Gebédi previously stated about the group's upcoming CD, "We trust it will be a classic death metal album in more than one way. The material we've written so far is very strong stuff ranging from slow, doomy parts to the occasional blast beat. Funny thing to mention is that drummer Ed Warby has written most of the guitar riffs so far."
