HAMMERFALL: 'Blood Bound' Video Posted Online
January 19, 2005HAMMERFALL's video for their new single, "Blood Bound", has been posted online at Aftonbladet.se.
With regards to the video, guitarist Oscar Dronjak recently said, "We are frozen in ice in the beginning of the clip, standing on top of the hammer from the cover.
"As you can see, the environmental atmosphere is comparable to that of the 'Lord of the Rings' trilogy and 'Day After Tomorrow'. The video clip is produced by Roger Johansson and directed by him and Alex Hansson, who also has been the VFX-supervisor. Daniel Tegeland and Mattias Söderholm are responsible for the 3D animations. These are more or less the same guys who have done all our videos since 'Renegade', and you'll see what an outstanding job they have done this time, as well. The mood fits the music perfectly, and looks very impressive!"
As previously reported, HAMMERFALL will release their new album, "Chapter V: Unbent, Unbowed, Unbroken", on March 7 via Nuclear Blast Records. The follow-up to 2002's "Crimson Thunder" was produced and mixed by Charlie Bauernfeind (BLIND GUARDIAN, HELLOWEEN) and will be preceded by the "Blood Bound" single on January 31.
