HARDCORE SUPERSTAR Replace HAMMERFALL At Sweden's MALMÖFESTIVALEN

HARDCORE SUPERSTAR have replaced HAMMERFALL on the bill of Malmöfestivalen, a week-long festival being held August 16-23 in Malmö, Sweden. HARDCORE SUPERSTAR will perform on Thursday, August 21 between 7:00 and 8:00 p.m.

HAMMERFALL were forced to cancel their appearance at the festival after guitarist Oscar Dronjak sustained a multiple fracture in his arm as a result of a motorbike accident on August 10.

HARDCORE SUPERSTAR recently completed work on follow-up to 2001's acclaimed "Thank You (For Letting Us Be Ourselves)", due on Aug. 25 through Music For Nations Records. Like its predecessor, the album was produced by Roberto Laghi. The first single off the album, "Honey Tounge", was released in June.
