HATEBREED: Another 'Live Dominance' DVD Preview Clip Available
August 14, 2008Video footage of Connecticut metal/hardcore heavyweights HATEBREED performing the song "This Is Now" live can be viewed below. (Note: Video stream may not be available to some non-U.S. residents.) The clip is taken from the band's first-ever DVD, "Live Dominance", which is scheduled for release on September 2.
"Live Dominance" features over two hours of live footage, including the full sold-out show at Harpo's in Detroit shot in March of this year on the band's Supremacy tour. The multi-camera concert was filmed entirely in high definition. The DVD will also include a ton of bonus features shot specifically for the release including brand-new band interviews, bonus live videos, fan testimonials, and much, much more.
"Live Dominance" was directed/edited by Toaster In A Tub's Kevin Custer with musical production/mixing coming from Grammy Award winner Josh Wilbur (LAMB OF GOD).
As previously reported, HATEBREED will release its all-covers album entitled "For the Lions" on October 28 via Koch. The CD is expected to include HATEBREED's renditions of songs by MISFITS, METALLICA, JUDGE, CRO-MAGS, D.R.I., NEGATIVE APPROACH, AGNOSTIC FRONT, MADBALL, SHEER TERROR and OBITUARY, among others.
HATEBREED will hit the road in September with support from EMMURE, SOILENT GREEN, WAR OF AGES and CATALEPSY.
HATEBREED enlisted Vinnie Paul Abbott (HELLYEAH, ex-PANTERA, DAMAGEPLAN) to produce, document and record the band's May 27, 2008 concert in Dallas, Texas at the Palladium Ballroom. The resultant recording will be released as HATEBREED's live album, "Live in Dallas", due in early 2009.
