HATEBREED Singer To Commence Work On ICEPICK Album
September 8, 2004HATEBREED frontman Jamey Jasta will shortly begin laying down vocal tracks for the debut album from ICEPICK, Jasta's much-anticipated collaboration with SKARHEAD singer Lord Ezec. "I will also be traveling back and forth to Planet Z where I will be working on the long-awaited ICEPICK album," Jamey writes on his web site. "I have two absolutely brutal tracks that I will be recording, they remind me of MADBALL or MERAUDER and I have another two fast old-school hardcore/punk tracks that remind me of MURPHY'S LAW meets NEGATIVE APPROACH. I will be doing the vocals on those over the weekend and Ezec will do his vocal parts when he returns from L.A. where he is currently doing songs for his DANNY DIABLO CD EP. He just finished three tracks with Tim Armstrong from RANCID so be on the lookout for that."
ICEPICK's track "Born to Crush You" was featured on the "UFC Ultimate Beatdowns Vol. 1 Metal" compilation, released last month through Nitrus Records.
