HIGH ON FIRE On 'Chaos With Full Metal Jackie'; Audio Available

Matt Pike (guitar, vocals) and Des Kensel (drums) of the Oakland, California-based band HIGH ON FIRE were the featured guests on the October 26, 2008 edition of Indie 103.1 FM's specialty metal program "Chaos with Full Metal Jackie". The interview is now available for streaming at this location.

As previously reported, HIGH ON FIRE has scheduled the following headlining shows in December:

Dec. 18 - Great American Music Hall - San Francisco, California

HIGH ON FIRE's latest album, "Death Is This Communion", was released in September 2007 and has received critical acclaim the world over. Produced by Jack Endino (GREEN RIVER, NIRVANA, SOUNDGARDEN),the CD features some of the band's most intricate songs and arrangements while still maintaining the bruising power of its previous work.

The band's 2004 album, "Blessed Black Wings", was produced by Steve Albini (BIG BLACK, PJ HARVEY). Both producers are known more for underground alternative rock than metal, a fact that made both more appealing to Matt Pike.
