HORRICANE Part Ways With Guitarist
October 19, 2005Estonian dark death metallers HORRICANE have parted ways with guitarist Pichen.
"Everybody in HORRICANE understands Pichen's reason [for leaving the band] — lack of time to dedicate 100% to the band and with full respect to his decision, we'd like to go back in time," the group write on their web site. "Time, which has been spent well in rehearsal rooms, at recording sessions, at gigs etc.
"It has been real pleasure for us to share the stage and to work hard during the recording session for HORRICANE's long-awaited debut album, which is about to released worldwide by Black Mark.
"There will be a final gig for HORRICANE with Pichen — double damage on 4th of November in Rock Cafe together with Estonian super combo NBS. After that, we split our ways in the friendliest manner. There's just one obvious question left. Will HORRICANE continue? The answer is YES, HORRICANE will go on! Stay foken tuned! Horrns up!!!"
HORRICANE's debut album, "The Lynch-Lawyers", is expected to contain new versions of the demo songs "Coup De Grace", "Fraction in Your Eyes", "The Lynch-Lawyers' Death Squad", "Demon-Strate" and "Nitro Boost Turmoil", as well as several brand new tracks.
