HYDROGYN Explains MONTERREY METAL FEST Cancellation
November 20, 2006American melodic hard rockers HYDROGYN were unable to perform at the
2006 Monterrey Metal Fest in Mexico on Saturday, November 18, due to "sudden medical issues" with Julie, the band's vocalist, according to a press release.
HYDROGYN's management held off the announcement of the impeding cancellation while awaiting medical results that would have given the band the necessary green light to travel to the festival in Mexico at the last minute, but which unfortunately did not materialize.
The band apologizes to all of the fans who were anxiously waiting for the band's live appearance at the festival and official pre-party.
HYDROGYN has already been officially confirmed by their management for the 2007 Monterrey Metal Fest and pre-party.
HYDROGYN's new album, "Bombshell" — which features a cover of SKID ROW's "18 and Life" — was released through Chavis Records.
