HYPOCRISY Drummer Hospitalized At Germany's EARTHSHAKER FEST
July 26, 2005According to a posting at SwedishMetal.net, HYPOCRISY drummer Horgh (ex-IMMORTAL) passed out Saturday morning (July 23) while partying with FINNTROLL at the Earthshaker Fest in Germany and had to be taken to the hospital. Rumors quickly began to spread that HYPOCRISY would be forced to cancel their gig at the festival, with HYPOCRISY mainman Peter Tägtgren attempting to diffuse the situation by explaining that Horgh was "still alive." Fortunately, Horgh recovered in time for the HYPOCRISY gig to take place as scheduled.
As previously reported, HYPOCRISY's new album, "Virus" is scheduled for release on September 19 via Nuclear Blast Records. A video for the song "Scrutinized" was shot last month and will begin airing soon.
HYPOCRISY's most recent album, "The Arrival", was released in February 2004 through Nuclear Blast Records. The follow-up to 2002's "Catch-22" was recorded at frontman Peter Tägtgren's Abyss studios.
