IMMORTAL 'Not Confirmed' For BLACKEST OF THE BLACK Tour

March 10, 2003

Despite reports to the contrary, a source close to the IMMORTAL camp has informed BLABBERMOUTH.NET that the band have not yet officially accepted a slot on the upcoming "Blackest Of The Black" tour, also featuring DANZIG, SUPERJOINT RITUAL and THE HAUNTED. "IMMORTAL were offered the dates, but have NOT confirmed ANYTHING AT ALL, NOTHING," the source said. "They have other commitments that they MIGHT not be able to get out of to do this... The offer just came in Friday [March 7], for Christ's sakes."

As previously reported, the "Blackest of The Black" festival tour will consist of three West Coast dates in early May. If these shows are successful, a full-length "Blackest of The Black" U.S. tour will take place in November, featuring a completely new lineup of bands (with DANZIG as the headliner).
