IN BATTLE: New Album To Feature Guest Appearance By Ex-MORBID ANGEL Guitarist

Sundsvall, Sweden-based death metallers IN BATTLE have pushed back the release date of their new album, "Welcome To The Battlefield" (Cold/Metal Blade Records),to September 20. The CD features a guest appearance on lead guitar by HATE ETERNAL/ex-MORBID ANGEL guitarist Erik Rutan (in the track "Serpent"),who also mixed the album at his Mana studio in Florida. A big record-release party in Sundsvall is planned for September, featuring some "well-known" guests.

IN BATTLE had previously released two albums (1997's "In Battle" and 1998's "The Rage Of The Northmen") through Austria's Napalm Records. A recently recorded four-song promotional demo, "Soul Metamorphosis", has also been made available.

IN BATTLE are booked to play the Peace & Love festival in Borlänge, Sweden on July 8 and the Kaltenbach Open Air festival in Austria on July 16.
