IN FLAMES Performs 'Eraser' For First Time Ever; Video Footage Available

October 31, 2008

Swedish metallers IN FLAMES performed the non-album track "Eraser" for the first time ever at Annexet in Stockholm, Sweden on October 29 because of a campaign launched by the Swedish newspaper Expressen.

Fan-filmed video footage of the performance, as well as vocalist Anders Fridén's lengthy explanation (in Swedish) for the song's inclusion in the set, can be viewed below.

"Eraser" is included on IN FLAMES' limited-edition "The Mirror's Truth" single, which also features the songs "Tilt" and "Abnegation".

IN FLAMES recently released a new digital single, "Alias". The track is the second single from the band's latest album, "A Sense Of Purpose", which came out in April. The accompanying video was filmed just outside Gothenburg, Sweden and was directed and produced by Patric Ullaeus (Revolver Film Company),who previously worked with the band on such clips as "Take This Life", "My Sweet Shadow" and "The Quiet Place".
