IN THE MIDST OF LIONS Signs With STRIKE FIRST RECORDS

St. Louis, Missouri-based Christian extreme metallers IN THE MIDST OF LIONS have inked a deal with Strike First Records. The band's debut album, "Out Of Darkness", will be released on May 26.

According to a press release, IN THE MIDST OF LIONS plays "vicious deathcore in the service of a higher power. A mixture of fast-paced tech metal and melodic worship, their music can be compared to such contemporaries as THE FACELESS, MESHUGGAH and VEIL OF MAYA, with the addition of the fact that IN THE MIDST OF LIONS packs a serious spiritual punch." The group says, "Our generation is in dire need of a savior. It has become trendy to cast out our Lord. We are here to bring the truth."

IN THE MIDST OF LIONS will play this summer's Cornerstone Festival on the Anchor stage as part of the Facedown / Strike First day.
