IN THIS MOMENT Explains Concert Cancelations
July 7, 2012Southern California's IN THIS MOMENT has issued the following update:
"Over the last two weeks on tour Maria [Brink, vocals] began experiencing acute pain in her lower back that kept getting progressively worse as the shows went on. We had a short break over the 4th of July holiday and Maria saw a doctor who informed her she might need immediate surgery to correct the problem. This obviously took immediate priority over everything else and we were forced to cancel two shows, Maine and New Hampshire. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this caused any of our fans. Maria is starting to feel a little better and we are planning to rejoin our current tour supporting SHINEDOWN in Montreal on the 8th, again, if you came to see us and we weren't there we are sorry, we will be back soon. Send Maria love and support."
IN THIS MOMENT's fourth album, "Blood", will be released on August 14 via longtime label Century Media Records. The CD was once again produced by Kevin Churko, who has previously worked with OZZY OSBOURNE and FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH, among others.
IN THIS MOMENT began work on the new album just a few months following the departures of drummer Jeff Fabb and guitarist Blake Bunzel, who left the band late last year in order to join the backing group of "American Idol" finalist James Durbin. Fabb and Bunzel have since been replaced by Tom Hane (THYATEIRA) and Randy Weitzel (FLATLINE, 3/13, AMERICAN MASSACRE),respectively.
