As previously reported, 3 INCHES OF BLOOD has issued a casting call for extras in the Seattle/Tacoma, Washington area for an upcoming music video shoot.
Commented the band: "We need people to dress up as Roman Empire villagers to be spectators in a battle royale of gladiators. Please come dressed in tunics, togas, etc. Costumes can be dirty or clean, any color will do. Think of the movies 'Gladiator' or 'Conan The Barbarian'.
"We will be shooting on Friday, January 11th during the daytime. If you are interested and available, please e-mail [email protected] and they will send you the details for the shoot."
On October 9, 2007, 3 INCHES OF BLOOD released an exclusive digital-only three-song EP, "Trial of Champions". The EP features the title track, B-side "Key to Oblivion" and "In the Time of Job When Mannon Was a Yippie", a unique interpretation of the song originally performed by LUCIFER'S FRIEND. "Key to Oblivion" is a B-side track from the recording sessions for their recent Roadrunner Records full-length release, "Fire Up the Blades", produced by Joey Jordison (SLIPKNOT). The digital-only EP can be found via iTunes and other online outlets.
