INTRONAUT Forced To Miss Tonight's Show In UK

November 21, 2007

California-based progressive/extreme music outfit INTRONAUT has issued the following update:

"We regret to announce that we will be missing tonight's show with THE OCEAN and WAR FROM A HARLOTS MOUTH in Stoke On Trent (tomorrow's Edinburgh show was recently cancelled for unrelated reasons as well).

"Our bass player Joe has come down with a serious case of pneumonia and is in the hospital here in London.

"We hope to make it to Friday's show in Plymouth, but can't make any promises until we see how his condition progresses.

"It's pretty scary being so far from home and having one of your bandmates/best friends so seriously ill, so please keep him in your thoughts and wish him a speedy recovery.

"The European run has been amazing otherwise! Big thanks to THE OCEAN for bringing us over the pond for our first tour over here, and an even bigger thanks to everyone who has come out to the shows, making this such a great experience for us."

INTRONAUT recently posted a new song, entitled "The Challenger", at this location. The track is the title cut of the band's new album, which came out on October 30 via Translation Loss Records. The CD consists of three new tracks, a handful of live tracks and a remix, with a running time of over 40 minutes.
