It's Official: HATESPHERE Sign With SPV RECORDS, Begin Work On New EP
November 16, 2004As BLABBERMOUTH.NET first revealed on October 11, Danish thrashers HATESPHERE have now officially signed a new record deal with the SPV label. The band recently spent time at Jailhouse Studios with producer Tommy Hansen (HELLOWEEN, PRETTY MAIDS) recording a new mini-CD, entitled "The Killing EP". A spring 2005 release is expected.
HATESPHERE's third album, "Ballet of the Brute", was released in Europe in June through Scarlet Records. The follow-up to 2002's "Bloodred Hatred", "Ballet of the Brute" was recorded at Jailhouse and is the band's first full-length release with drummer Anders Gyldenøhr, who replaced Morten Toft Hansen (RAUNCHY) in May 2003.
HATESPHERE will be supporting KREATOR on their "Enemy of God Tour 2005" beginning in February 2005. Also appearing on the bill will be Sweden's DARK TRANQUILLITY and Hungarian hardcore/thrash metallers EKTOMORF.
