JOB FOR A COWBOY Schedules Philadelphia In-Store Appearance

Extreme metal unit JOB FOR A COWBOY has announced a special one-off in-store promotion with specialty music retailer Sam Ash. The Glendale, AZ band will make an exclusive appearance at Sam Ash's Franklin Mills, PA location on Saturday, November 17 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. Attendees will have a chance to meet JOB FOR A COWBOY as well as the opportunity to win musical equipment including Ibanez guitar and Tama drum products.

JOB FOR A COWBOY is currently on the road co-headlining the 2007 "Radio Rebellion" tour alongside BEHEMOTH. Presented by Hurley and Converse, the massive, 28-city North American trek is showcasing the cream of the crop of heavy music's rising stars from points across the globe and is being called "the most ambitious heavy music tour of 2007."

JOB FOR A COWBOY, which has seen a meteoric ascent unparrelled in recent extreme metal history, is continuing to tour in support of its debut full-length album "Genesis". Referred to as "the most anticipated debut release from a metal band in years," "Genesis" debuted at # 54 on Billboard's Top 200 chart this past May, shifting nearly 13,000 units in its first week of release and joined the initial releases from STONE SOUR and DAMAGEPLAN (which featured members of SLIPKNOT and PANTERA respectively) amongst the highest charting metal debuts to crack Billboard's Top 200 since SLIPKNOT's 1999 self-titled album. Additionally. the band has earned a landslide of recent accolades including being named "Best Underground Band" at the 2007 Metal Hammer "Golden Gods Awards", one of Total Guitar's "Hottest Guitar Bands of 2007", one of Alternative Press' 2007 "Bands You Need to Know" and one of Revolver's "Breakthrough Bands that will be Kicking Your Ass this Year".
