JOHN BONHAM's Sister Records LED ZEPPELIN Cover
March 7, 2003Deborah Bonham, the younger sister of the late John Bonham, the powerhouse drummer for LED ZEPPELIN, has recorded a cover of ZEP's "The Battle Of Evermore".
The song that was originally on "Led Zeppelin IV" is included as a bonus track on Deborah's new CD, "Old Hyde". It is a live version recorded as a duet with her nephew (and John's son) Jason Bonham.
"The Battle Of Evermore" isn't the first time Bonham has covered a LED ZEPPELIN song. Last year she appeared with former THE SCORPIONS guitarist Uli John Roth in Germany to sing "Since I've Been Loving You".
As previously reported, a new three-CD LED ZEPPELIN live album, titled "How The West Was Won", will be released in May. Fans will have the choice of the three-CD audio version or a two-DVD video version.
The tentative release date for "How The West Was Won" is May 27.
