JUDAS PRIEST performed an extended set at London's Brixton Academy last night for the filming of an upcoming DVD, which is tentatively scheduled to be issued in late 2002. Among the tracks that PRIEST were scheduled to play were the following:

In related news, HALFORD—led by former JUDAS PRIEST frontman Rob Halford—have finished recording “much of the music” [for their upcoming sophomore album] and hope to complete the vocal tracks in late January, according to a recent posting by the singer. The as-yet-untitled effort is currently being tracked at a Los Angeles studio with producers Roy Z. (BRUCE DICKINSON/HELLOWEEN) and Richard Polodor (ALICE COOPER/3 DOG NIGHT/STEPPENWOLF),and is due to be issued through Metal-Is/Sanctuary Records in mid-2002. Among the titles set to appear on the forthcoming CD is “Dead Men Talk”.
