KILLSWITCH ENGAGE: Video Message Posted Online

February 23, 2004

KILLSWITCH ENGAGE guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz has posted a video message from Backstage Studios in Ripley, Yorkshire, England, where he is currently mixing the group's new album, "The End of Heartache", with Andy Sneap (MACHINE HEAD, EXODUS, ARCH ENEMY, SKINLAB). Check it out here. Additional studio photos can be viewed at this location.

As previously reported, "The End of Heartache" is scheduled for release on May 11 through Roadrunner Records.

The follow-up to 2002's "Alive or Just Breathing" was produced by guitarist Dutkiewicz and is set to feature the following tracks, among others:

01. Bid Farewell
02. World Ablaze
03. When Darkness Falls
04. Rose of Sharyn
05. Declaration
06. Take This Oath
07. The End Of Heartache
08. Break the Bonds

"The End of Heartache", the group's first full-length release with vocalist Howard Jones and drummer Justin Foley, will feature cover artwork designed by the band's bass player, Mike D'Antonio.

D'Antonio is no stranger to album cover design as he has taken on the task for the previous KILLSWITCH ENGAGE albums as well as for several other up and coming like-minded bands such as SHADOWS FALL and UNEARTH.

KILLSWITCH ENGAGE will hit the road as headliners in early May and can be expected to tour relentlessly behind "The End Of Heartache" in 2004.

"Alive or Just Breathing" has sold nearly 100,000 copies in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan.
