KISS: 'Destroyer' Figures Due Before Christmas
September 9, 2004According to KISS fan site KissNews.de, plans exist for McFarlane Toys to release a seventh series of KISS figures. These will be the "Destroyer" figures posed as they were on the 1976 album cover. At this time, it appears that these will be four seperate figures and there are plans for a box set release. An official release date has not yet been announced, but the figures are tentatively expected before Christmas.
The brainchild of Grammy- and Emmy-winning producer/director Todd McFarlane (creator of Spawn and founder of Spawn.com),Tempe, Arizona-based McFarlane Toys has several successful music lines, including KISS, OZZY OSBOURNE, THE BEATLES' "Yellow Submarine", METALLICA, JIM MORRISON, IRON MAIDEN's "Eddie", ROB ZOMBIE, JANIS JOPLIN, ANGUS YOUNG and JERRY GARCIA. The company also produces figures from movies and sports.
