KITTIE's MORGAN LANDER Tops 'URANIUM' Viewers' Poll

November 17, 2003

Morgan Lander, vocalist/guitarist of KITTIE, recently won "Uranium"'s (Fuse TV) Viewers' Poll for "Best Female In A Metal/Hardcore Band", beating out the singers from OTEP, ARCH ENEMY, and LACUNA COIL.

"I'm shocked and pleasantly surprised that 'Uranium' viewers are still supporting us even though we haven't put out a video in two years," Morgan Lander said. "We can't thank them enough for voting for us."

KITTIE's "Kiss of Infamy" U.S. tour wraps on November 18 in Los Angeles. The band have been on tour since October 18, road-testing new material for their next album.

Immediately after the tour, KITTIE will return to Canada where they will continue writing and rehearsing for their next CD.

"We can't wait to take our ideas and finally get back into the studio and record because that's what we love to do," said drummer Mercedes Lander. "We're excited that our fans are enjoying the new songs we've been playing on this tour."

The band plan to have their follow-up to "Oracle" released by summer 2004.

Remaining KITTIE tour dates:

Nov. 17 - House Of Blues - Anaheim, CA
Nov. 18 - Roxy Theatre - Los Angeles, CA
