KITTIE To Perform At TORONTO MUSIC EXPO
October 31, 2005Canadian metal band KITTIE will be playing a 30-minute showcase at the Toronto Music Expo on November 20 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre in Hall "C", located at 255 Front St. W. in downtown Toronto. Buying a ticket not only allows you to see the showcase, but allows you access to instrument and gear vendors, workshops, and other live performances for the whole convention all day. Advance tickets are available at www.torontomusicexpo.com and are only $8 in advance and $10 the day of the convention.
As previously reported, KITTIE have posted several promotional photos of their brand-new lineup — featuring new guitarist Tara McLeod, formerly with Strathroy, Ontario area band SHERRY, and bassist Trish Doan, who played with London, Ontario rockers HER — at KittieRocks.com.
KITTIE, who parted ways with guitarist Lisa Marx and bassist Jennifer Arroyo earlier in the year, are currently unsigned, having split with Artemis Records in March "due to a proposed amendment to the recording budget for the pending fourth KITTIE album," according to a post on the band's web site. The band's most recent album, "Until the End", was released in July 2004.
KITTIE will soon release a downloadable EP to introduce new material.
