KREATOR To Perform Title Track Of New Album On German TV

German thrash metal veterans KREATOR will perform the title track of their new album, "Phantom Antichrist", on the show "Neo Paradise", broadcast on Germany's national TV network ZDF, on Friday, July 13 at 9:55 p.m. CET.

"Phantom Antichrist" registered the following first-week chart positions:

Germany: #5 (the band's highest chart entry ever)
Switzerland: #22
Austria: #31
Netherlands: #87
Spain: #89
Belgium: #115
USA: #130
Canada: #118

"Phantom Antichrist" sold 3,900 copies in the United States in its first week of release. The CD landed at No. 1 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.

KREATOR's previous album, "Hordes Of Chaos", sold around 2,800 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 165 on The Billboard 200 chart. The CD landed at No. 7 on the Heatseekers chart.

Released on June 1 in Europe and June 5 in North America via Nuclear Blast Records, "Phantom Antichrist" was recorded at Fascination Street Studios in Örebro, Sweden with renowned producer Jens Bogren (OPETH, KATATONIA, SOILWORK, DEVIN TOWNSEND, AMON AMARTH).

The limited edition of "Phantom Antichrist" was made available as two-disc digipack, including a bonus DVD.
