KROKUS Singer To Guest On WARRIOR CD

August 6, 2003

KROKUS vocalist Marc Storace has been recruited to sing on the next WARRIOR album, tentatively due before the end of the year.

"I have been working on lyrics and vocals in between a bunch of very, very exciting kick-ass KROKUS gigs over the past couple of months," Storace writes in on online posting. "[Fans shouldn't] worry, [because] this is gonna be a very challenging studio album with very talented American studio musicians, and I have KROKUS' 'blessing' to venture into some yet-unexplored zones of my vocal fantasies!!!!

"There are no tours planned [with WARRIOR] but I assure you this song material is merciless and will be a must for your collection…"

Originally formed in 1983 by guitarist Joe Floyd and vocalist Perry McCarty, WARRIOR didn't survive long after the album's release and disbanded, with Floyd moving into the production role for some time. After almost a decade, Floyd re-united with McCarty and, armed with a new lineup, released "Ancient Future" (1998) through Metal Blade Records. A third album, "The Code Of Life", featuring ex-IMPELLITTERI vocalist Rob Rock, was released through Nuclear Blast Records three years later.
