LAWNMOWER DETH To Reunite For One-Off UK Concert

June 13, 2008

LAWNMOWER DETH, the long-defunct late '80s/early '90s English comedy/thrash metal band which released three-and-a-half well-regarded albums, has issued the following update:

"Ladies and gentlemen of the jury against our better judgement, and possibly the only time we will do this ee have agreed to reform for a one-off show in the UK later this year.

"I know, I know we were well past our sell-by date when we split back in '93-94, and it's quite possibly 'a stupid and futile gesture' to mark our entering into midlife crisis territory. But the opportunity that we have just been offered is just too unreal to turn down.

"God only knows how it will all pan out, but if it all comes together, we will be opening for a great band at a large venue in London sometime in November.

"I can't say much more at the moment as it's not confirmed, but we are all very excited to get this chance to have one last fish dance.

"It may also be a disaster of 'Spinal Tap' proportions.. Whichever way it goes, it should be a blast!"

More information will be made available soon.

LAWNMOWER DETH's third, and final, album "Billy", was released in 1993.
