LIMP BIZKIT Are Getting Ready To 'Eat You Alive'
August 1, 2003LIMP BIZKIT have reportedly selected "Eat You Alive" as the first single from their forthcoming album, due on September 23 through Flip/Interscope Records. The single is expected to impact radio as early as Monday, August 4, and a video for the song is scheduled to begin airing in a couple of weeks.
As previously reported, LIMP BIZKIT's long-awaited new album seemed ready for release in May, but after BIZKIT finally named Mike Smith (ex-SNOT) as the replacement for guitarist Wes Borland, the group scrapped the finished tracks and began working on new material. The follow-up to 2000's "Chocolate Starfish And The Hot Dog Flavored Water", the title for which has yet to be disclosed, was produced by Durst and was mixed by Brendan O'Brien (PEARL JAM, STONE TEMPLE PILOTS, PAPA ROACH).
