LIZZY BORDEN/MARTEN ANDERSSON Collaboration Not To Be Released Under LIZZY BORDEN Name

March 26, 2004

The full-length album currently being recorded by LIZZY BORDEN bassist Marten Andersson and the band's namesake/vocalist is NOT a new LIZZY BORDEN CD, according to a posting from Andersson on his official web site. "We are working on copyrighting band names right now and as soon as it's taken care of you will hear much more about it," he writes.

According to Marten, the upcoming CD is "really cool stuff, sorta 70's, CHEAP TRICK meets early PRIEST, straight-forward hard rock with great vocals. The people that have heard it loved it and say it's very original. It will be interesting to see what the reaction will be."
