LUCIE SILVAS Covers METALLICA's 'Nothing Else Matters'; Video Available

December 21, 2006

26-year-old British singer/songwriter Lucie Silvas performed her cover of METALLICA's "Nothing Else Matters" during the 40 Principales awards gala on Sunday (December 17) at Palacio de los Deportes in Madrid, Spain. Watch it at YouTube.com.

Silvas recorded a cover of "Nothing Else Matters" for her second album, "Breathe In", which came out in 2004. When asked recently by musicOMH.com if she was "a rock chick at heart," Silvas replied, "Ha, well I do love all that — LINKIN PARK, RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE. I love rocking it up a bit, and when we go on tour we really go for it, step it up more."
