LYNCH MOB, LEATHERWOLF Members To Guest On KNAC.COM's 'WildSide'

July 19, 2008

LYNCH MOB members Oni Logan and George Lynch will guest on Diana DeVille's KNAC.COM '80s hair metal specialty program "WildSide" on Saturday, July 26 at 6 p.m. PST. Michael Olivieri and Dean Roberts of LEATHERWOLF will appear on the same program at 4 p.m. PST.

You can listen to the show live via the Internet at www.knac.com.

Fan-filmed video footage of LYNCH MOB performing the song "Wicked Sensation" at the Rocklahoma festival on Saturday, July 12 in Pryor, Oklahoma can be viewed below (clip uploaded by YouTube user "johnnyspudgun1").

Sitting behind the drum kit for LYNCH MOB's performance at Rocklahoma was CINDERELLA's Fred Coury, who stepped in for Tommy Aldridge after Tommy answered the call for the drumming duties in THIN LIZZY. Joining him for the set were guitarist George Lynch (ex-DOKKEN),vocalist Oni Logan and bassist Marco Mendoza (WHITESNAKE, THIN LIZZY)

LYNCH MOB's U.S. tour with CINDERELLA, WARRANT and LYNAM was cancelled after CINDERELLA frontman Tom Keifer's left vocal cord hemorrhaged during rehearsal, thereby making it impossible for him to sing in the immediate future.

LEATHERWOLF's video for the song "Dr. Wicked (Rx O.D.)", off the band's current studio album "New World Asylum", can be viewed below. The clip was directed by Karpis Makusdian, who also lensed the group's 2006 video for "Behind the Gun".

"New World Asylum", released on the group's NIL8 label, marks the return of original vocalist/guitarist Michael Olivieri, who had left the band temporarily in 2003 and was replaced by Wade Black (ex-CRIMSON GLORY). The album was mixed by noted Danish producer Jacob Hansen (VOLBEAT, ROB ROCK, MERCENARY) at Hansen Studios in Ribe, Denmark.

"Dr.Wicked (Rx O.D.)", which was inspired by the infamous "Dr. Death" Jack Kevorkian, who was released last year after serving eight years in a Michigan prison for second-degree homicide for aiding in the death of a terminally ill patient, deals with the subject of assisted suicide. "It's a controversial subject matter for sure but one that concerns all Americans and everyone else for that matter," stated co-producer/drummer Dean Roberts. "How do you balance the right to choose when and how you want to exit this mortal coil, which is very much a personal thing, and at the same time safeguard against abuse where individuals may want to play God with your life?"
