MÖTLEY CRÜE's NEIL On 'The Surreal Life': I Thought I Was Being Set Up
January 27, 2003MÖTLEY CRÜE singer Vince Neil was slightly dubious about appearing in his new reality TV show — because he feared falling victim to an ex-wife.
Neil, whose three marriages have dissolved, is currently appearing in new TV show "The Surreal Life" where he lives temporarily alongside faded stars such as MC Hammer, Gabrielle Carteris, Corey Feldman and Emmanuel Lewis.
And although the self-confessed reality TV show addict was quite enthusiastic at the prospect of starring in a show of his own, he was deeply worried about his housemates.
He says, "They wouldn't tell me who else was going to be on the show so I was a little frightened because I thought that I was gonna be set up, like an ex-wife be on there too or something."
But Neil wasn't the only one with pre-show nerves — former "Beverly Hills 90210" star Carteris was not at all thrilled about going into the house — but that was because she knew who was going to be in it.
Vince adds, "She was afraid to be on the show when she heard I was gonna be on it but we ended up being best friends."
