MARTRIDEN: In Writing Mode

August 18, 2008

Montana-based blackened death metal group MARTRIDEN has issued the following update:

"Well, now we've finished our 'tour' and its back to the grind for us. We will be hiding away for the next 8 months and have begun writing songs which we plan to start recording next July and August. We already have several ideas and concepts that we want to utilize for our second full-length album and look forward to progressing our sound and pushing the boundaries of what extreme metal can do.

"After that gets all done we plan on touring more and more, we are currently beginning our campaign to join the roster of a national and international booking agency to help us get our music (especially live) out to as many people as humanly possible. Starting a year from now, our ideal plan is to get on as many supporting slots as humanly possible from September 2009 and onward."

MARTRIDEN's debut full-length album, "The Unsettling Dark" was released by Siege of Amida and Candlelight Records.

MARTRIDEN opened for Norwegian black metallers EMPEROR on two of the three shows they played in the U.S. last year.
