MARTY FRIEDMAN: LINKIN PARK And LIMP BIZKIT Are Doing Extremely Interesting Stuff

Despite his reputation as an old-school guitar virtuoso, former MEGADETH axeman Marty Friedman claims that he has a great appreciation for the new generation of guitar players, especially those from KORN, LIMP BIZKIT and LINKIN PARK.

"Those guitarists and bands are doing extremely interesting and cool stuff," stated Friedman. "If it weren't for bands and musicians like that, worldwide interest in the guitar would have dropped off the map completely. Listen to the LINKIN PARK record in particular, and you will hear some amazing playing and production, not to mention a wonderful massive guitar sound."
