MASTER To Headline Italy's TUNES OF DEATH CHAPTER II Festival

January 14, 2009

Legendary death metal band MASTER will headline the Tunes Of Death Chapter II festival on Saturday, January 31 at Marmaja Live Club in Milan, Italy.

The festival billing is as follows:

MASTER (USA/CZ)
HORRID (ITA)
PARIAH (UK)
DEAF NOISE (GER)
VERMIN (GER)
M-16 (ITA)

MASTER will return to the U.S. in July for a headlining tour that will also include PATHOLOGY (the California-based band featuring featuring ex-members of DISGORGE and CATTLE DECAPITATION) and DREAMING DEAD. The trek will take place from July 10 to July 31, 2009.

Commented MASTER mainman Paul Speckmann: "After the overwhelming success of the last triumphant return to the USA, as well as the astonishing record sales once again in America, MASTER has decided to tour in this region a second time. The tour will begin in July 2009. I certainly look forward to seeing the fans once again, and, of course, we look forward to playing many of the states that we missed due to lack of time or no interest."

DREAMING DEAD's Elizabeth Schall stated: "We are all very excited to once again hit the road in support of such worthy bands such as MASTER and PATHOLOGY. This time not only will we be out promoting our new album, 'Within One', but we will also play some of our new material and include other surprises that will have to wait until then… We'll see you in the pit!"

Fan-filmed video footage of MASTER performing the song "Unknown Soldier" in Boston, Massachusetts on October 19, 2008 can be viewed below.
