MEDICATION's MADER Speaks Out On Tour Cancellation, Future Plans

February 3, 2003

MEDICATION guitarist Logan Mader (formerly of MACHINE HEAD/SOULFLY) has addressed the reasons for the cancellation of the group's European tour and the band's current status in the following message posted on the semi-official Logan Mader web site www.loganmader.com:

"Hi Everyone,

"I wanted to take a few minutes and address the recent cancelling of our European tour as well as the status of MEDICATION, as a band.

"While we were looking forward to touring Europe, we had to cancel two weeks before it was to kick off due to unforeseen circumstances. Due to personal reasons, our drummer (Chris Hamilton) could not make the tour. There are no hard feelings however, we understandably couldn't tour without a drummer or find a replacement with such short notice. Therefore, the cancellation was imminent.

"Second, MEDICATION is on hold as a band. As some of you may be aware, I am keeping busy with producing other bands and the other band members have their own projects going on as well. I don't know what the future holds for MEDICATION, but I will tell you that I always believed in this project from the beginning and we (as a band) have given it our all. I'll keep you posted here at LoganMader.com if/when anything changes.

"Peace and thanks for the support, Logan."
