MEGADETH Bassist To Perform With THE ALIEN BLAKK At Arizona In-Store

February 23, 2010

MEGADETH bassist David Ellefson will sit in "on a tune or two" with THE ALIEN BLAKK, the group led by producer/guitarist Joshua Craig, at a free in-store performance on Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at Zia Records in Chandler, Arizona at 6 p.m. There will be a signing session immediately following the band's set.

Says Craig, "To commemorate the release of [the new THE ALIEN BLAKK album] 'Bekoming' and the re-release of 'Modes Of Alienation', we will be doing a free show. There will be a couple special guests and Dave will swing by to throw down some low end on a tune or two. He's part of THE ALIEN family and he's home that day!

"I look at it this way — there have been a lot of cool players on the tours and the recordings and whoever's around and wants to play some metal is welcome to sit in. Arizona has some great players, so it should be a cool free show for fans."

"Bekoming" is due on April 6 via retail outlets in North America through Alien Records and via www.thealienblakk.com (all copies purchased from the web site will include an autograph). The CD will feature additional guest appearances by Deron Miller (CKY),Eric A.K.
