MEGADETH: Release Dates Set For Reissues, Brand New Studio Album

May 27, 2004

MEGADETH mainman Dave Mustaine has posted the following message on the band's official web site:

"Droogies! Today we started a poll for the order in which the re-issues will be selected to have one song off of each album put up once a week for your pleasure.

"I have my suspicions which one will be first, and after that we will put up a poll tomorrow listing the songs that can be chosen for listening from the list of albums in the order you chose.

"Some of the albums now have up to four more songs on them and in some cases a record that had 11 or 12 songs could have up to 15 songs on it now. The poll feature here allows up to 16 choices, so once we pick the first album, with the help of our beloved Webmaster and System Lords we will choose the songs for you to vote for.

"This means by Friday you will be able to listen to a new re-issue.

"I hope this gets yer juices flowing.

"And to be clear, the re-issues release date is July 27th and the the current release date of the new album titled "___ ______ ___ ______" will be September 14th, 2004.

"Have fun today and vote for the Album poll.

"On another note we have started talking to some musicians about the concert dates. We will keep you posted as we go along."
