'METAL' MIKE CHLASCIAK Launches 'The Metalworker' Miniature Flying V Guitar

April 27, 2010

HALFORD guitarist "Metal" Mike Chlasciak has collaborated with a California-based miniature guitar manufacturer Axe Heaven to bring a signature flying V miniature model — "The Metalworker Mini V."

Each mini stands approximately 11 inches high and comes complete with its own stand and presentation box. It is display-ready. Completely handcrafted from solid mahogany wood, each axe is hand made at the Axe Heaven facility in Indonesia.

Behind-the-scenes of "The Metalworker Miniature V" video can be viewed below.

"I'm excited to finally say — let's unleash the black beasts!" stated Mike.

"This has been a wonderful project for all of us involved, especially me. It's a bizarre, but nonetheless great feeling to take a pencil to paper and draw up a metal axe and have the thing show up at your office door step a couple months later.

"This mini has stayed very true to my original sketches and ideas, and although only about 11 inches high, it certainly has enough metal snarl to make even the most discerning metalhead proud. "

Axe Heaven's Jason Kline commented on the release: "The Metalworker Miniature Flying V by Metal Mike is the perfect start to bring in a metal edge to our Axe Heaven lineup.

"I knew from day one when Mike sent over his ideas of how a Metal Mike flying V should look like, that we were going to see something truly metal. The rest is history and as Mike always says, horns up!"

"The Metalworker Mini V" is available through MetalMikeArmoryStore.com, AxeHeaven.com and select retail locations across the globe.
