METALLICA Drummer Donates Art For Charity
June 11, 2006According to South Africa's Tonight, artwork contributed by METALLICA drummer Lars Ulrich and other celebrities is currently on display at a four-day festival called Postive, raising funds for the Tapologo Aids Hospice in the North West Province of South Africa, which started on June 8 and is scheduled to end today, June 11. It is the largest collection of artworks in the country, with over 100 artists exhibiting. Along with Lars, celebrities like Aretha Franklin, Katie Melua as well as local celebs Cindy Nel, Gary Player and Makhaya Ntini have created art for the exhibitions. All artworks are on sale.
