MIKE PATTON: 'MR. BUNGLE Is Over'

May 14, 2003

Former FAITH NO MORE frontman Mike Patton says that he has moved on from MR. BUNGLE and is making TOMAHAWK his main priority.

"I think [MR. BUNGLE] is over," Patton told Underdog Online. "The guys are spread all over the world and we don't talk to each other. I have not spoken to a couple of the guys since the last tour, years ago."

Patton, who is currently concentrating on his two bands TOMAHAWK and FANTOMAS, has another project on the way. PEEPING TOM, Mike's much-anticipated collaboration with renowned hip-hop producer Dan "the Automator" Nakamura, is not expected to release anything anytime soon. "I hope it is out by the end of 2004 but have not started on it and [I have] no idea who is going to be in it or anything," Patton said.

Another side-project for the ever-busy singer is a collaboration with X-ECUTIONERS, due later this year. "It is a crazy record. Kind of a battle record. I do my thing and they reply. Dueling banjosesque," he said.
