MNEMIC To Take Time Writing Their Best Album Ever

December 20, 2005

MNEMIC guitarist Mircea Gabriel Eftemie has posted the following tour report on the group's official web site:

"Goddamn! We did 10 weeks of touring on the American soil — did we have fun?? Hell yeah! It was a pleasure touring with MESHUGGAH, we destroyed, partied and got inspired by them, and jumped right on to the ARCH ENEMY tour which was a blast as well!

"Getting back to Denmark, we went straight to the rehearsal and gathered all material we have been writing out on the road and I can tell you that the new stuff is going to be our best material we have ever written, and we are gonna take our time and live up to this promise! On another note me and Rune [Stigart] are gonna start playing 7-strings again, and this time downtune these motherfuckers — it's gonna be heavy as a really heavy thing!"

MNEMIC's sophomore album, "The Audio Injected Soul", was released in September 2004 via Nuclear Blast Records. The follow-up to 2003's "Mechanical Spin Phenomena" was recorded at AntFarm Studios in Aarhus, Denmark with producer Tue Madsen.
