MOSTLY AUTUMN Part Ways With Drummer, Announce Replacement
April 5, 2004British Celtic-influenced progressive rock band MOSTLY AUTUMN have parted ways with drummer Jonathan Blackmore.
"There is a great deal to do if the band is to achieve all we hope to do over the coming years and Jonathan felt unable to make the extra commitment which we need in terms of time and effort," the band write on their web site.
"We fully understand and respect this decision and wish Jonathan every success in his musical career outside of MOSTLY AUTUMN. We would also like to thank Jonathan for all of his hard work to date.
"Andrew Jennings will be taking over from Jonathan with immediate effect
"Andrew is the brother of keyboard player Iain and as a fully trained classical percussionist brings an impeccable musical pedigree to the band. The first performance by MOSTLY AUTUMN with Andrew Jennings on drums [took place] at the Y Theatre Leicester on April 3rd."
MOSTLY AUTUMN's fourth full-length album, "Passengers", was released last May though the Classic Rock Legends label.
