MOTÖRHEAD Meets With Members Of LIVEWIRE Youth Music Project
November 12, 2009ThisIsPlymouth.co.uk reports that MOTÖRHEAD frontman Ian "Lemmy" Kilmister and drummer Mikkey Dee met up with six lucky members of Saltash's Livewire youth music project before their gig at the Plymouth Pavilions on Tuesday, November 10.
It was one of many meet-and-greets that Livewire organizes with bands in the South West.
Lemmy, one of the most well-known rock figures in the U.K., signed autographs and spoke to the young musicians about life on the road.
Bass player George Trevor-Harris, 17, from Torpoint, said: "It was cool to meet someone who talks to you like you are a famous bassist.
"It was really flattering and decent of him and Mikkey to take the time to meet us."
