MÖTLEY CRÜE's NIKKI SIXX Undergoes Double Hernia Surgery

MÖTLEY CRÜE bassist Nikki Sixx has posted the following message on his Facebook page:

"I have been performing during the last few months with a pretty intense double hernia, but you gotta give 100% even through the pain onstage.The good news is yesterday I got surgery on both sides and it went really really well. My lovely wife, kids and Leica have been really taking care of me.

"I should be up and kicking ass in a few weeks and back in the gym/tour in six weeks.

"Looking forward to seeing you all back out on the road.

"P.S.: Holy Jesus, it feels like I got kicked in the stomach by a horse. They gave me some pain meds but I am trying to not take them, and luckily, [Sixx's wife] Courtney Bingham-Sixx looks pretty hot in her nurse outfit…"

MÖTLEY CRÜE has completed the first leg of its "The Final Tour" with support from Alice Cooper. The next leg of the trek will kick off on October 10 in Oklahoma City and conclude on November 22 in Spokane, Washington.

While announcing the first details of "The Final Tour" at a Los Angeles press conference in January, the four members of MÖTLEY CRÜE revealed that they took the unusual step of having their lawyer draw up a formal "cessation of touring" agreement that goes into effect at the end of 2015 and prohibits the members of the group from going on the road again under the MÖTLEY CRÜE banner.
