MY RUIN SIGN Sign European Deal With UNDERGROOVE

September 22, 2005

MY RUIN, the Los Angeles-based band fronted by ex-TURA SATANA singer Tairrie B., have inked a European deal with Undergroove. The group's new album, "The Brutal Language", will be available throughout Europe on November 7 under license from the band's very own Rovena Recordings.

Produced by axeman Mick Murphy (who played all the instruments on the record),the album was mixed by two-time Grammy award-winning producer Nick Raskulinecz (FOO FIGHTERS, VELVET REVOLVER, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE).

Ironically, Undergroove's head honcho and Tarrie B. have had somewhat of a chequered past. Darren Undergroove explains: "It's not always been rosy between MY RUIN and I. During my time of working at Metal Hammer, we engaged in a lengthy and somewhat heated vitriolic and public slagging match. But what was then, and this is now. People change, attitudes change and a mutual loathing has transformed into a two-way appreciate and realization that both sides were actually fighting a common cause — the desire to expose honest, good music and art. The release of 'The Brutal Language' through Undergroove cements this understanding once and for all."

MY RUIN recently announced the addition of two new members, Chris Lisee (bass) and Jason Brunk (drums). Although Chris and Jason already had their "baptism of fire" in August when they hit the road for the first time with MY RUIN, the band are gearing up to begin Part II of "The Double Shot of Rock Tour", presented by Jagermeister, which begins stateside on September 26 and kicks off with a CD-release show at The Whisky in their hometown of Hollywood on September 23.

To celebrate the European release of "The Brutal Language", MY RUIN will hit the U.K. in December. A tour of mainland Europe is also being booked for early 2006. Exact cities and dates will be announced soon.
