MYLES KENNEDY Talks About Performing With SLASH In New Video Interview
February 1, 2011Bret Vesely from 98 KUPD conducted an interview with Myles Kennedy (ALTER BRIDGE, SLASH) on January 26, 2011 when he performed with Slash as the support act for OZZY OSBOURNE at the Comerica Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona. You can now watch the chat below.
Although Kennedy sang just two tracks on Slash's self-titled solo debut, he confirmed to The Pulse Of Radio that Slash would like him to sing everything on the guitarist's next solo effort. "It's very flattering," he said. "I think there's kind of a cool thing we got going. We really enjoy working with each other. I know they're auditioning singers now for VELVET REVOLVER, so I don't know if they find the right guy if that'll affect things timing-wise. I'm not really sure. But the plan right now is that yeah, we'll do a record together down the road."
Slash's debut disc came out last year and featured a different singer on each track, including Chris Cornell, Ozzy Osbourne, M. Shadows and others.
ALTER BRIDGE recently completed a tour behind its latest album, "AB III".
Kennedy rejoined Slash's band on January 16, when Slash began an opening stint for OZZY OSBOURNE.
