NECRONOMICON: 'The Time Is Now' Video Released

"The Time is Now", the new video from Quebec's black/death metal trio NECRONOMICON, can be viewed below. The clip was shot last spring with Benoit Nantel (GHOULUNATICS, URBAN ALIEN, LES ECORCHES) who "did his best to capture the band's atmosphere and power." NECRONOMICON is said to be "really satisfied" with the end result and plans to work with Nantel again in the near future.

"The Time is Now" comes off NECRONOMICON's new album, "Return of the Witch", which was recently mastered with reputed engineer Maor Appelbaum (HALFORD, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, THERION, etc).

Two tracks from the upcoming CD are now available for streaming on the band's MySpace page.

"Return of the Witch" will feature guest appearances by Arianne Fleury (ex-AUGURY) and Roxanne Constantin (NEGATIVA, QUO VADIS),among others.

The band previously stated that the follow-up to 2003's "The Sacred Medicines" would "probably be the fastest and most brutal" CD the group has released thus far.

Other songtitles set to appear on the album include "Into the Fire", "Alpha Omega", "The Awakening", and "Return of the Witch".
